Well bear with me as we get this first blog started of hopefully many many more to come.

I started coming to this beautiful island in January 2024 and this past trip a week ago was my 12th trip in the past year. I think I surpassed over 100 days on the island last year.
I obviously love the island and there’s so many things to say about the island that I love. I really appreciate the people on the island and the locals that I have come to call friends over the past year.
You can’t beat the exchange rate and the island affords you great possibilities of eating extremely cheap like four miniature tostadas for one US dollar all the way up to steak and lobster or sushi with drinks that would be around 100 US.

The second largest barrier reef is visible along the whole entire eastern side of the island. It’s second only to the great barrier reef in Australia and this one is like 182 miles long. As far as accommodations go, we would love to have you stay at Crellies Casitas, but there are numerous choices on the island unless you’re coming during high season and availability gets to be very scarce.

You cannot beat the weather on the island as I think the average temperature during the day year-round is around the low 80s and the average nighttime low has to be in the mid to high 70s. The only downside is the humidity 3 to 4 months out of the year, but anybody that lives in the US in certain parts will understand the humidity, but I feel it’s an easy trade-off because of the scenery and the total vibe on the island.
